Otley Maker Space is a place where people
get together to make stuff
get together to make stuff
We have skills
We are building an open, friendly and supportive community of makers that is inclusive and welcoming to all.
We have tools
We have sewing machines, 3D printers, power tools, a lathe, a lasercutter, microprocessors and lots more besides. We share our skills with each other, including by running occasional workshops for members.
We are thrifty
We like making, remaking and fixing stuff, especially at our regular Repair Café. We reuse, repurpose, recycle and upcycle, in practical, creative and ingenious ways.
We have fun
We are inventive, playful and pragmatic, enjoying the challenge of finding out how to make something new and creating something useful or beautiful – or both. We enjoy working at individual projects and getting together to try something new.
If you want to know more about the Otley Maker Space, then the simplest thing is to call in during one of our sessions on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Wednesday evenings. The calendar page shows the timings. Come along, say hello and find out what we are all about.
